PAYMENT INFORMATION


Please be aware that I am Self Pay. This means that I do not accept insurance, but I do accept all major debit/credit, FSA/HSA accounts, and Cash payments. A card is required to be on file and all cards are kept securely on file. While I can appreciate that not accepting insurance may cause an inconvenience for some but the privacy and autonomy in individualized treatment, is of the upmost importance to me. Insurance companies at times will require me to make a diagnosis whether it is appropriate or not. Insurance companies can also decide which therapy approaches I use and the number of sessions I am allowed to provide independent of my professional experience. I prefer a collaborative approach to therapy, and the benefits of this approach allows me to work with you individually to determine whether diagnose/s are appropriate, determining the style of therapy and number of sessions that are right for you. The therapist/client relationship is central to the therapeutic process and insurance can at times circumvent the collaborative process between The Therapist who is the trained mental health professional and their clients/s. Also if we we aren’t a good fit I am happy to provide other referrals or if insurance is needed I am happy to try to provide referrals as well.



I have a 24 cancellation policy which means that the charge the full fee for service which is common with most providers is charge for any appointments not canceled or rescheduled 24 hours in advance. This means that if you need to reschedule your appointment please reach out to me so that we can get you rescheduled in order to avoid the full fee being charged if a session is not cancelled 24 hours in advance. All payments must be current before further sessions are able to be scheduled.
